I understand what does she say. I live in New Zealand but actually I am a Korean. I heard that if Asians speak to Western, they hear it same though they are from diffrent country. But i think she speaks well. cause i have some Japanese friend, but sometimes i can't understand.. Good point. The problem is Kara does'nt connect her work to the contemporary manifestations of slavery. She is stuck in the past of the American system of chattel slavery. She's constantly making statements that articulates how much she wants to go back and experience the past. She essentially says it in this video. The Psycho said "all blacks want to slaves a little bit " Her perverse desire to be a slave is sick & twisted. It has nothing to do with abolishing it in its current form.

Does this depicts Miss Walker's own sexuality or sensuality who's to know?? Van gogh sliced hius own ear off and everybody thought that he was mad. In fact he suffered from a certain kind of mental illness (I've forgotten the name). Today he's very famous especially for his "Sun-flowers". I'm not saying that this artist is crasy or anything but it just goes to show. Maybe after many years we'll tuly comprehend & appeciate her true meaning of this composition. I'm still not sure what to think about her art. I was impressed she is able to do different types of art like the silhouette, the drawings, the puppet videos, etc. But some of work is way too graphic for my taste. I understood what she try to tell but it was so raw I was a little shocked. I did enjoyed, however, seen the older white people get upset at her work and complain that wasn't art. They obviously can comprehend what she tried to tell.

In Europe, there is a bunch of universities as german Fraunhofer Institute or some famous Max Planck Institute which have (had?) research teams in the same area, photogrammetry and 3D rendering. I thought the Kelvin was a nod to the destroyer class vessels of the Starfleet Command series of game (at least 1 and 2). Those vessels were no slouches and a good captain could take one up against the heavier cruisers. If Nero had access to a D'Deridex or a Valdor, the Kelvin would not have lasted long at all.

She didn't quit The Knife, they're just currently on hiatus. They'll be releasing an album version of the soundtrack they wrote for Tomorrow In A Year, and then they might work on another (real) Knife album. But who knows.... maybe more solo.
